Will the real Sydney please stand up?

It’s been quite a time since I recieved the first letters, accompanied by drawings, from Sydney.

But recently an envelope arrived containing a letter, supposedly from Sydney.  I’m not convinced it’s from him.

He tells a long tale of his time in Antarctica and introduces his new friend, a toy penguin called Hobart.

And the letter also contained 3 colour photos of Sydney and Hobart in the freezer, along with what looks like frozen fish and chicken.

I leave it up to you to decide what you think, but I believe this little character may just be one of Sydney’s relatives pretending to be Sydney.

On the first page of the book, Sydney of the Antarctic, there is the drawing of when I first found him, amongst a pile of look-alikes.

Do you think this is one of them —or is it the real Sydney?

And if it’s one of the look-alikes, perhaps there are others out there just waiting to let us know about their lives.

The picture in the freezer is Sydney’s wife that he got married to. Íf you see her ask her if you got married to him.

I think that the person who got the same toy as Sydney just put it in the freezer and took a photo of it and send it to the owner of Sydney . The person that took the photo probably knows Sydney.

The picture that was at Antarctica had a rip on its foot and the one on the fridge had no rip.

Gosh, I’ve been busted by all those kids. How did they know I was not really Sydney, just his double from a parallel world?
Love,
