A special day for all the toys

On my visit to Saint Stephen’s on the Gold Coast in June, we proclaimed a special day for all toys.
Students came with their toys wrapped in scarves and hidden in crumb-filled corners of their backpacks; some had to get a lift, their toys being rather too large to walk on their own.
Even some teachers and the wonderful staff of the library carried in their special friends… and each had a tale to tell.
As you can see in this photo, the toys all got along very well indeed… and the stories we made up for them made us all laugh.
I hope the toys will be asked back again soon!

Sydney is gonna come
To all the wonderful students that I’ve just been visiting in WA, you are a true inspiration! It was a complete privilege to have met and worked with you all. I miss you,… miss that we didn’t have more time together. You have all achieved so much and been so strong! I wish I could wrap you all up and take you on a tour of high schools throughout Australia so you could tell your stories, share your commitments, strength, love, hopes and your incredible positivity with all students, everywhere. With what you have achieved so far, what you have overcome, you can do anything, and you will. Thank you for sharing your time, you have given me so much. xxCoral.
